Birthday celebrations this month for Dennis on the 17th and Margaret on the 18th
We spent a lovely day commemorating VE day on Friday out in the garden, encouraging reminiscence and conversation. A buffet tea was served with sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, cakes and even a trifle!
We also enjoyed the warm weather on Saturday with some potting and relaxing in the shade.
Due to the current situation we are unable to have external Instructors/visitors to our home, but TOFF has lots of activities lined up this month to keep everyone busy. They include, Singing for the Brain, take a trip down memory lane, dog walking, Past and Present – share a memory and Cinema Club. These will be either in the Blue Lounge or wherever the biggest group gathers. The Garden Club members are enabled to be out each day for planting, weeding and watering.
